The second article, titled “A Parent’s Guide to Back-to-School Woes”discusses the importance of regularly visiting your pediatrician to provide a thorough check-up for your child. Since many children are burtsting with energy heading back to school, it’s imperative that parents’ are careful not to write off attention defecit disorder or attentiona deficit hyperactivity disorder as bad behavior. Kids with ADD and ADHD are often easily distracted and struggle with hyperactivity and lack of impulse control and organization tasks such as problem solving and planning.
