and Pediatric Therapies

Ryan Emry received his Bachelor of Science from The Illinois Institute of Technology, and his Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

As an Area Director at North Shore Pediatric Therapy, Ryan works as a clinician while also supporting a great team of Behavior Therapists, Behavior Analysts, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists, across multiple centers.  

For Ryan, watching our children learn and grow is the most rewarding part of the job.  

When Ryan is not keeping busy at the clinic, you can find him spending time with his wife and two amazing daughters.

Liza received her Bachelors of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences with Minor in Psychology from Indiana University, and a Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

As Vice President of Clinical Quality & Training at North Shore Pediatric Therapy, Liza oversees the clinical operations of the Chicagoland locations, as well as provides internal clinical support to our BCBAs, leads the internal ABA apprenticeship fieldwork study program preparing students pursing their master’s in ABA to become BCBAs, and also serves as our internal ACE coordinator providing internal continuing education events to our team of BCBAs.

In addition to her role at NSPT, Liza also has served as an adjunct professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology teaching master’s courses to future BCBAs. For Liza, expanding the reach of our services to new communities and areas where there are limited options on comprehensive pediatric therapy providers is the most rewarding part of the job, and she loves growing the field through her work with student mentorship.

Alyssa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University and her Masters degree in Behavior Analysis – Professional Practice from the Florida Institute of Technology.

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at North Shore Pediatric Therapy, Alyssa provides clinical oversight and supervision to a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure the delivery of high-quality applied behavior analysis (ABA) services. She is responsible for developing individualized skill acquisition programs and behavior reduction protocols for learners diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Alyssa also collaborates with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to generalize behavior-change procedures and support skill development across environments.

Alyssa finds the most enjoying aspect of her work to be observing her clients achieve mastery of program targets and engage in meaningful social interactions with peers and RBTs. She particularly enjoys teaching manding and promoting school readiness skills through evidence-based strategies.

Alyssa’s commitment to the science of behavior analysis began in 2020, when she started working as an RBT at a clinic in Michigan. Outside of clinical practice, Alyssa enjoys running by the lake, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and her cat, Hunny.

Maureen has been with North Shore Pediatric Therapy for 15 years and has worn many hats over the years starting as a Family Child Advocate in the Glenview Clinic and in multiple clinics as new locations opened.  She has supported marketing and billing efforts over the years and has happily returned to her roots in the Glenview Clinic. One of the most rewarding aspects of her position is supporting families as a liaison between school, pediatricians, and other outside providers to ensure the most holistic and comprehensive experience for each child.  She particularly enjoys supporting each team member and finds joy in every milestone reached for each child.

Maureen is also a tutor specializing in critical writing for law students, is an endurance swimmer and happiest when all of her children are in the same hemisphere!

Vickie earned her Bachelor's in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, followed by a Master’s in Special Education with an ABA Certificate from George Mason University.

As a BCBA at North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Glenview, she works closely with her behavior technicians, guiding them in implementing behavior interventions and collaborating with families and other professionals for a comprehensive approach.

For Vickie, the most rewarding part of her work is watching her clients build confidence as they master new skills, specifically skills for daily living. She loves celebrating every milestone and designing social programs tailored to each child’s unique interests.

Elizabeth Habisohn is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist licensed in the State of Illinois. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology at Marquette University, in Milwaukee and then earned her master's degree in Speech & Hearing Sciences from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Elizabeth has been working at North Shore Pediatric Therapy since August 2021. She has experience working with children from 12 months to 16 years of age in the clinical setting and elementary school setting. She has worked with children and young adults to address expressive and receptive language skills, early language skills, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders and implementing high- and low-tech augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and working with children with autism spectrum disorder.

Elisa received her Bachelor of Arts from Calvin University, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University. As a Physical Therapist at North Shore Pediatric Therapy, Elisa provides therapy that works on strength, flexibility, gross motor skills (walking, running, jumping, hopping, ball skills, etc), and more!

For Elisa, seeing kids become stronger is the most rewarding part of the job, and she loves designing games that work toward clients' goals while having fun. Elisa has done volunteer work with children since the 6th grade and even worked as a Montessori teacher's assistant. Elisa has a pet gecko and likes to draw pictures of him in different hats. Her favorite sport is rock climbing with her friends.

Alex Pattullo is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist licensed in Illinois. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, with a Spanish minor, from the University of Kentucky and earned a post-baccalaureate certificate in speech-language pathology. She then earned her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI.

Alex returned to NSPT as a core therapist, after previously working as a BT at the Lincolnwood clinic from 2019-2020. After completing her graduate studies, Alex worked as a contracted SLP for District 60 in Waukegan with students aged kindergarten through 5^th grade in monolingual/dual-language English-Spanish general, exceptional needs, and autism population classrooms. She has experience working with children between 3 years to 13 years of age in elementary school and clinical settings. She has worked with clients to address expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders, implementing high- and low-tech augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Her areas of interest include evaluating and treating expressive and receptive language disorders, speech sound disorders, early intervention, childhood fluency disorders, and programming and developing low tech and high-tech AAC systems.

Emily received her B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and is continuing her education at Loyola, pursuing an M.Ed. in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is excitedly working toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Currently, Emily serves as the Glenview Assistant Clinical Coordinator (ACC) at North Shore Pediatric Therapy, where she supports behavior therapists in various ways while learning from the BCBAs. Her favorite part of the role is being an extra pillar of support for both behavior therapists and clients, which she finds to be the most rewarding aspect of her work. Emily enjoys learning from her clients and appreciates the variety that each day brings.

Outside of ABA, Emily loves traveling and running along the lakefront whenever she can. A fun fact is that Emily has travelled to over 10 countries with Portugal being her favorite visit!

Alan Sadural is a board-certified occupational therapist with experience working with the pediatric population. He earned his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2021. He also studied at UIC and holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Rehabilitation Sciences and Disability and Human Development. In addition to working in pediatrics, Alan has experience working with adults with developmental disabilities in the home health and outpatient rehabilitation settings.

Alan has worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, coordination disorders, developmental delays, and sensory processing differences. In his free time, Alan enjoys traveling, watching movies, tending to plants/pets, and playing guitar.

Laurie Sharp received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The American University in Washington D.C. and received her Masters of Social Work at Loyola University in Chicago. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at North Shore Pediatric Therapy, Laurie provides mental health services to children ages 5-18. When not at work, Laurie enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cat Coco.
