I've been using NSPT in Highland Park for two years for Occupational Therapy for my oldest child for fine motor skills. He has improved immensely and continues to improve. I've also been using them for ABA Therapy for my middle child for a year and a half. She is currently receiving anywhere from 15 to 22 hours per week of therapy, part of it is in clinic and part is at home. She has made immense improvements during this time period. The therapists have been very accommodating of our schedules and have even accompanied her to a park district camp to work on her social and speech delays. Everyone in the HP Clinic is very accommodating and friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful.read more

Unlike me, my son was struggling to become a super gabby person like his parents. Although not too worried about the slower development (he spoke, just had trouble with word formation) we set up a consult with North Shore Pediatric. The consultation recommended some additional 1:1 with a therapist...an amazing therapist but more on that later. Although not worried about my little buddy, I also wasn't going to stick my head in the sand and ignore a potential problem; so I quickly got on-board. Next step after three months was me crying in the waiting room as our not yet 3 yo went in by himself without his mommy, for his 1:1; full disclosure my hubby wasn't there or would have been a blubbering mess too!! He did great, he trusts his therapist immensely (also important!). At home my son starts talking about Ms. Meghan, who my hubby assumes is a new teacher at pre-school..but then he starts asking about seeing her the day before a non-school day and it finally occurs to him to ask his lovely wife who Ms Meghan is??! Meghan is the amazing therapist referred to above (see you didn't have to wait too long!) that my son has grown to love seeing as much as he loves seeing his cat (and that's a lot!!). Of equal, ok of more importance is the development of his language skills. He has made great progress with Meghan's help and I have even less concerns that he will just as verbose as his parents. Thank you Meghan and North Shire Pediatric!! read more

Our experience at NSPT has been extraordinary. The therapists are all skilled and kind - my son LOVES them. It's his favorite part of the week, actually. He's in OT, PT, and Speech: each therapist coordinates with the others - and it's been a really holistic approach to his care. I recommend the Highland Park office 100%. He sees Marcy, Holly, and Julie.read more

We've been clients of NSPT for two years, and have had very positive experiences. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and inclusive. They are very child-focused and go to great lengths to make sure that each one is receiving the support they need. I've recommended them before, and will continue to!read more
