In November 2017, my son Theo was born, and I became a new mom! At the time, my husband and I lived in the city, where there was no shortage of activities for Theo and I. We were fortunate enough to be welcomed into a new moms group, giving me the information and support I needed at this crucial time in both of our lives.
When Theo was 7 months old, our family decided it was time to move to the suburbs to expand our space and be closer to family. When I began to look for suburban activities for new moms, I was shocked to find there wasn’t much available. Given my background in child development and my experience as a new mom, I started a new moms group of my own to provide the support and community for suburban moms that was graciously provided for me and Theo.
