What is the Orton-Gillingham Reading Program?
The Orton Gillingham reading program is a multi-sensory, kinesthetic, and phonics based approach. OG follows structured lesson plans week to week that utilize multi-sensory activities that include the auditory, tactile, and visual senses. There are 5 levels, and each lesson plan integrates morphemic, syllabic, syntactic, semantic, grammatical, and diagraphic skills.
